Peanut at 29 weeks

Welcome to our first blog!

We started this blog to share our family's pictures and stories with all of the friends and family we have who live close by and far away. Our first blog update is about Peanut (of course). We had an appointment with the OB on Mamma K's birthday. Here's a picture of Peanut from the appointment:

Peanut is 29 weeks and doing great. He's measuring on the above-average range for the size of his head and for his weight (big surprise). He's also moved into the 'correct' position (with his head down toward Mamma K's pelvis and his feet at Mamma K's ribs). We also received great news that Mamma K does not have gestational diabetes; that was quite a relief. Finally, while the placenta has moved a small amount, it is still low-lying. This means that we'll have to have another big scan to check on the placenta at 35 weeks and that we'll definitely be having a delivery via c-section.

At the appointment, Mamma B tried getting the OB to lock in a delivery date (she's very excited), and he told us he'd prefer to deliver at 38.5 to 39 weeks, which would be from about 6-10 March.

Mamma B also thought it would be nice to show a picture of Peanut from the outside (aka of Mamma K). So here's a picture of Mamma K:
